Why are we not able to see those who view our profiles?I think it would be helpful,as this is a dating site, to see who might be interested...or not.I have belonged to other sites that show every single person who has viewed your profile and then have also belonged to one that you could choose whether or not you want your view to be known to them...

Hmm...we don't really see this particular option as a good thing.

On the one hand it does let a member know that their profile was viewed, but on the other hand it would immediately beg the question 'why didn't that person contact me?'.

It might also cause the 'viewed' member to want to contact the viewer to say something like 'I saw that you viewed my profile'...which seems kindof like backwards stalking, since the 'viewing' member did not initiate contact.

We're not totally against it, but it does make us think that hurt feelings could arise, and or awkward situations.

Especially since someone could have been looking at all profiles within a certain geographical area, as opposed to viewing profiles that they thought were a possible fit for them.

We're open to what members want though, and we'll consider this for a future addition, if we receive a number of other requests for it.

We would like to see some feedback about this idea though, so if any other members would like to comment on this feature, please do so here.
